Young couples getting married. Hmk.Feb.25

Let me tell you about my two experiences: First when I was gonna get married, of course, as the traditions and the society demand, my boyfriend first started visiting me. I used to live alone with my aunt. Imagine, she was almost 90 years old and I was about 18 years old so we married until I was 22 years old. His father and mother went to my house on the day we planned the wedding. So they went to formalize our decision in other words to "ask for my hand" or I don't know how to say it you understand.
My second experience was when my daughter was gonna get married too. As we attend to a Christian church, the pastor, gave them several recommendations, something like they need first to attend to a number of conferences just for them about different topics they need to know. But it wasn't for just one or three days it tooks some months and they have their conferences each week. So when they finish this, of course, he and his mother talked to us, we agreed and they started to planned everything for their wedding. And thanks God they have now 5 years of married. In my opinion I think it's an important event to give it the special attention it requires and help and support our sons or daughters in doing this in the better way it has to be done.

The fear

Hi! How's everybody! I hope you're ok. Well, this time I want to write about the topic I explained to the women I invite to my house this Saturday. It's about the fear. I'm goin to try to make it shorter. I explained them that there were two kinds of fears: the real and the imaginary ones. Some are expressed and some are hidden . You may be a very beautiful well dressed up lady, but if the fear dominates your heart, the external beauty will be opaqued. One of the ingredients of this beauty is being certain that "If God is with me, who is against me? Are you afraid of: driving or flying alone? or to discover that you have a very serious illness? or to die? or become a widow? or to fail in your marriage? or the possibility that your husband has another woman? or to be bankrupt? or to be pregnant? or taking decisions? or to stay alone? or what could happen to your children? or finally "what can the people say? (your husband, mother-in-law, boss, neighbors, etc) If you don't stop the fear, it will stop you. Because of the fear, you don't have any relation with people or you're afraid of testify about Jesus? Most of the time we are afraid on what we listen to. (bad news, gossips) Sometimes on what we see. (the circumstances, the problems)But if we live according to what we believe, instead of what we see or feel, then we won't be afraid. When your life is governed by the fear to God (reverence) including respect of his Word, then big changes will come to your life. It will be more important to you not to offend him, and less important "what the people can say" Memorize this: God has said, " Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you" So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? (Hebrews 13: 5,6) The end. Well it was a resume of what we learn today. I hope you can understand it because of the translation. Ok, my dear classmates have sweet dreams. If I don't write you tomorrow I'll do it on Monday. Have a nice weekend and take care of yourself. Bye bye.

End of mychildhood story

Hi everybody: How are you doing? I think a little bit more relax, because we finished exams don't you think so? But now let's begin with the rest, so here Iam writing one more blog. I really like to do this even if I have to do them at midnight. Sorry I just write for you, but I don't know how to put comics, pictures, or other nice things you do. I'll take a time to learn about this matter ok? Well, let's continue with my story. I stopped when I had my two children. So in that time I did'nt work at all to take care of them. So when they grow up I was thinking if I could work in something again, but not as a secretary, because I wasn't 17 or 20 years old like before, so I started to look for a job giving English classes. First I had an opportunity at the "Cultural Tampico" just for some months. Then a friend asked me if I can supply him at the "Cedip" also for some months too. After that, I had a job at the "Montessori American School" for two years, later, I start working at a Christian School named "Instituto Juárez-Lincoln de Tamaulipas" I worked there for 5 years, then I returned to the "Montessori" for 2 more years and now I have 2 years working at the "Instituto Latinoamericano" so untill now, I have 12 consecutive years working as a teacher. But what I was going to tell you and that's the more important thing for me, that happened in my life, is that I belong to a Christian church where I have been taught about all the principles of the Bible, and also to know more about God and how He changed my life and family's too. If you don't care, I would like to talk more about that on next blog. Right now it's 15 mins. to 1:00 am. By the way, it's very strange that I always type my blogs almost at this time and when I public them they are with another hour like 8:20pm. for example and at that time I don't even leave the UAT, but I' try to investigate. Ok my dear friends, take care and God bless you all. kisses.

An effective daily schedule (homework)

Nowadays all people need to organize, plan or schedule all their daily activities in order to feel sure and have the control of each activity they are going to realize. Doing this, the person will feel relax knowing that all what he/she planned will be done in the day and hour he/she scheduled it. Another reason to do this, is that the person will acquire the habit of having order and discipline in everything they want to do. Also they will see the results and benefits of being an organized person. That will guaranteed the person to relax, success and maybe enjoy things or moments they hadn't before. So let's enjoy the life learning new ways to organize our lives.

My childhood (continuation)

Here we are starting a new week ain't it? Well, let me continue telling you about my life. As I told you, I lived with my parents until I was 12 years old then I went to visit my aunt to Indiana for 3 years, after that I returned to see my parents and I didn't want to return because when I was there my aunt's grandaughter always was fighting with me. So, in that summer, my other aunt from Tampico also invited me just one or two months, so I accepted. Of course I was 15 years old. When I was here, she asked me if I would like to study and I answer yes so I started to study (commerce) for three years, you know a bilingual secretary. When I finish, I started to work first at PPQ Pigmentos y Prods. Quim. it was its name. Three months later I was working at Petrocel for 5 years and finally in Poycid for 1 year and then guess what? I got married. After that, one year later my daughter Marcela was born and 3 years later my son Mauricio. Now they are 26 and 23 she is already married and lives in Monterrey and at the moment I live with my husband and son. Ok, I'm going to stop here, because I'm seeing it's 1:05 am. and I have to go to work tomorrow. Don't you miss the third part of my history. It's very interesting! Same day, same channel, as the tv said. See you later alligator. Bye bye.

Let's continue with the blog

Hi everybody: I was planning to write last night, but guess what? after the valentines day's party we had, I returned home and when I enter to my house everything was in darkness so I tried to turn on the lights and surprise! the CFE cut the energy I couldn't believe it, what a shame. So I called my husband, he was still working and the confusion was that he thought we had to pay in other date. So imagine, I was preparing my lunch for the next day with a lamp in the kitchen preparing thing by thing carring my lamp here and there. Remember I'm in a diet that's why I need to prepare my special meals otherwise I must have to eat tacos or torta where I work and I don't want to break my diet. But at last I finished. Thanks God it wasn't a hot night so don't need air conditioner of a fan.

Talking about other things, tomorrow Saturday I'm going to attend to a baby shower. It has been so long time since I don't go anywhere on Saturdays afternoon, because of the women's group I had at that time. You know I give them Bible classes all Saturdays afternoons, but I asked a friend if she can give the class for me and she accepted. Well, my dear friends, I'll write you tomorrow again. I'm kind of tired. It was a very long day isn't it? I'm going to sleep, because tomorrow morning I have to go to my Lider's course as all Saturdays. I'll continue tomorrow telling you more about my childhood. Enjoy your rest time. Bye.

My childhood

Hi there, how was your day? I hope it was ok. I was thinking on what to write and after I read Mr. Cabrales' note and some links, I decided to talk about my childhood. Well let me start telling you something about me. I was born in Guadalajara. When I was 12 years old, an aunt who was living in Indiana invites me to go with her. I stayed there for 3 years where I lived different experiences. I remember my first winter and the first time I saw it was snowing. It was a beautiful experience. I used to play with my cousins in the snow. Sometimes the level of the snow was higher than my large boots so it was difficult for us to walk. I started to go to school my first school's name was Riley Ementary School, then the next one was the Block Jr. High School and in summer I used to attend for summer courses at the Lincoln School. Sorry, let me make a pause, guess what, I pushed a buttom from the computer and lost this note without knowing what to do. I started once and all over again and it took me as a half an hour to find it again, but what I'm not sure is if it's going to be published correctly or maybe I'm going to send it twice. I don't know, that's why I decide to stop it here. I'm going to try to put it in my blog and tomorrow I'll continue with my story ok? By the other hand I waist a lot of time and now its very late. See you tomorrow. Bye.

Bad news

Hi guys: Here I'm again writing another note so you can read about me. How was your day? I hope it was good. Remember I told you yesterday I was going to tell you something later? and that's why I titled my blog saying "a terrible weekend" and that's because I had a problem at
my school where I work. When we finished recess, as always my children got in line and after that they start going to the classroom when some boys run trying to win and they don't even noticed that they push a girl agaist the corner of the entrance door and hit her on the forehead
I was at the end of the line when the little girl returned to me crying and she was bleeding a little
so I took her with the nurse of the school. We also called her parents just to notified them. when
they leave, her father came and ask me about the accident, I explained him and call the nurse, so she can explain him better. After that they left. But, guess what, the next day very early in the morning the girl's mother appear as she use to do it for any other causes. Then the principal told me, Oh my God !Frida's mother is here and she wants to talk to you. So I said, that's ok, let me talk to her. so I met her. She was very angry and shouting to me she said: "I want you to tell me what happen" so answered her "I already explained it to your husband yesterday, didn't he tell you?" and she continued shouting saying: Forget it he didn't tell me anything that's what I'm here. Well, I explained her the same thing and she started asking me and where were you in that moment! I explained her again and she was saying a lot of fool things like "and then what's next! the other time a girl scratch my daughter, tell me what this is about! and I told her "nobody wants to hurt your daughter this may happen in this school or another or maybe at home, they are kids and run and play. And she goes"I don't care about others, maybe you don't even have any control in your classroom and I answer, "ok, did you come here to judge my work even if you don't know how I work? and she continued saying stupid things and again I asked her well, what do you want? Do you want to blame me? and for everything she answer no. So I told her ok, I don't want to continue talking to you. And forget it! she got more angry and shouting told me "you are not going to let me here" I told her "I already explain you everything and nothing convinces you, so I don't want to continue with this" Then she shouted "you are not going to let me with the words in my mouth!" and I went with the principal and told her I can't stand this woman I'm not going to talk to her anymore go with her. Later the principal told me she said different things. I told her that's what happen when you let just your teacher talk with the parents, they may say whatever they want, and if we don't have any witness to testify the truth, you will never know exactly what she or I said. And that's all folks. I never have had a problem like this with any parent, but I didn't care about it. God and I know how the things happen so I feel fine. Ok, my dear friends I need to study for tomorrow's exam again. And you too, so see you tomorrow
and have a good dream bye bye.

Mr.Cabrales' homework Feb.11, 2008

Reading topic sentences:
1.- Tampico has a beautiful beach to visit.
2.- Tampico has the Metropolitan Theater and an interesting museum.
3.- Tampico also has The Carpintero's Lagoon.
4.- Tampico has different sport clubs.
5.- Tampico has all kind of Restaurants.

Tampico is an exciting place with lots of things to do and places to go. For example you can go fishing, hunting, go to the beach, visit the Chairel Lagoon where you can take you yatch, you may enjoy visiting different kind of food restaurants, attend to the Feria, or playing golf at the Country Club. Also you can visit our dock where all the big ship arrive, or maybe you prefer to visit The Malecón where you can see the river and the sea, and at the same time you can admire the beautiful "toninas". Come and and enjoy Tampico and you will discover more of its beauty.

My terrible wekend

Hi friends: How are you doing? Too much work to do? I imagine. Right now I'm starting to do all the homework we have. I don't know where to start. Firt I was reading and reading about literature Mr. Roberto's subject, to do the essay he wants for tomorrow, but as I haven't slept enough in these past days, I was fallen asleep so I decided to stop for a while to write in my blog something for you. After this I' need to read Ms. Edith's antology too for tomorrow's exam, because she didn't give us a guide or something like that, we just have to read and make our own questions and answers, do this it's going to take me some time and then to study it. I just called Maricela a few minutes ago, for a doubt and she gave the notice that we also have Mr. Cabrales' exam for tomorrow. I told her why haven't you tell me before, imagine if I don't call you I wouldn't know it. She said she forgot to tell me about that. But thanks God for that opportunity Mr. Cabrales is going to give us. I hope I can finish to do all this, because as you know we need to do another essay for Ms. Claudia and to study all the history information we have for Tuesday. That's too much for me and I don't understand so much about history that's a lot of dates, kings, queens, countries and things that happens in the different years. That's why I was planning to study for that subjets days before, but it has been impossible for me. Remember I work from 7:30 am. to 3 o'clock in the afternoon and I run to the UAT and when I arrive I need to be there with all my homeworks done of course. Well, no more complainings let's start to work, I just want to write something like Mr. Cabrales told us. I'm going to keep on reading and I hope I can write another note for you. I have something to tell you, wait for my notices. Bye.

Having a doubt

Hi teacher, you know what? I was seeing that someone sent to your blog or coments the homework you ask us to do. My question is if I have to send it to your personal blog or I leave it where it is, in my comments, because I did it since yesterterday Monday 4th and it was going to be for next Thursday. Anyway I may ask you tomorrow at class. Sorry if I made a mistake but I understand you will be checking our blogs anyway don't you?
I have about two hours here reading your links. They are real interesting. Today I enjoy answering the grammar test since the beggining using the verb to be and then the prepositions and so on. Thanks because you gave me some ideas for my first grade students. I want to have
that information its very useful. Of course, I didn't finish with the tests, but I'll continue working on them to see how difficult the last ones are. I was thinking, and what about when we finish this semester, what's going to happen to our blogs? Are we going to erase them? or keep them for the time everyone wants to have it. But the thing is that probably you are not going to continue sending us more information or you are not going to have time to do this extra job if you're going to have some other groups. Well, I'll ask you about this tomorrow and see how are we going to do it. You see, if this was new for all the class, imagine for me? I really thank you for this because it makes me work on the computer since I was afraid to used it because as I told you I was not good on this, but now this practice is helping me a lot. Even if I don't have enough time in the whole day, (that was always my excuse for not using the computer) you can see the hours on which I'm doing my homeworks, but it doesn't matter. Ok, teacher see you tomorrow, thank you for everything again. Bye bye.

Tomorrow's exam

Hello my dear fellows. How was your long weekend? Did you rest? Or you're tired of all the weekend activities. Let me remind you about tomorrow's exam with Mr. Cabrales. Did you study? don't forget the homework ok? I was working all this day in many different things. Since very early in the morning, a friend of mine called me to help her with his son. He is doing drugs
(I'm not sure if is the correct way to say it) and we where looking for a reabilitation place for him. So I moved as fast as I can to her house and the boy scaped and until this moment he hasn't returned yet. Well, We'll see what can we do later. When I returned home it was 2 o'clock so I had to prepare dinner. After that, I cleaned the kitchen and start working on my homeworks
I had to prepare two presentations and some other teacher's assignments. But I'm not finish yet
I need to colour two big drawings for the school where I work it's about Valentine's day decoration for the classroom and as I have two groups, I need to do everything double. Well, I don't want you to get bored reading all this, but you know we have to practice English. Thanks God for this extra day we had. Sometimes they are necessary so we can update all the missing details and work. Ok, my dear friends, it was nice to write for you. See you tomorrow don't sleep late as I do. Have sweet dreams. Bye.

home schooling (homework)

In my opinion, I think it depends on the different needs people may have.
I knew a family, he was a pastor of a church and they need to move to different cities and places, so their two daughters never went to school. They used to have several teachers wherever they were.
I imagine there are special teacher and well prepared to do this kind of jobs, but I don't think parents could do it, except if they are teachers. I don't see any advante on this kind of education.

By the other hand, as the reading says, children don't have the opportunity to socialize with other people. They miss all the events at school like having for example honor to the flag, festivals like mother's day, celebrations like Thanksgiving, Valentine's day, Christmas, etc. And
what about their graduation event?
I don't know the way parents or teachers supply this important events for a child. For this and more details, I think this way to educate is not an advantage.

Here I am did you miss me?

Hi guys: Guess what? I was looking at Mr. Cabrales' links and I found some animals, they are really cute, like the owl and the pinguins. Did you see them?
Also I continued with the grammar, there's a lot of information to see and learn. It takes time to read all the items, but they're very interesting. Anyway, I'll see them little by little without skipping any of them.
See you tomorrow. Well it's already tomorrow it's 12:22 am. As you can see this is the moment
I usually do my homework most of the time. Ok, bye.
